Kent Bradford

bradfordDr. Bradford’s research and teaching interests are in seed biology, production and quality.  He is the Director of the Seed Biotechnology Center, which works closely with the seed and plant breeding industry to conduct research that facilitates breeding, cultivar development, seed production and seed quality assessment and conservation.  His research projects utilize genetic mutants, QTL analysis and related genetic, molecular and genomic approaches; thus, students interested in functional or physiological genetics could find a home in his program.
