The UC Davis Plant Breeding Center invites graduate students and post docs to attend the in-person Behavior Based Interview Workshop. The workshop is facilitated by the National Association of Plant Breeders (NAPB) and will feature a presentation, interactive interviewing activities, and a panel discussion with industry leaders.The event will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at the UC Davis Conference Center, from 9 AM - 3 PM. Lunch will be provided.

This workshop will provide practical insights and hands-on experience in behavior-based interviewing—a style of interview that is common in the industry and some academic positions—providing participants with a valuable skill set for their future endeavors. Facilitators and Panelists include: Mark Newell of Bayer, John Zwonitzer of Dow AgroSciences,

Chibwe Chungu of Banyan Tree Skills Academy, Klaus Koehler of Corteva, and Rick Harrison of Driscoll’s.
