Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds: The Story of Jere’s Pure Seeds
 

Ellyn Mavalwalla, Master Gardener and manager at Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds - The Seed Bank in Petaluma, will give a talk on the history of the company; the development of their amazing
catalog; their expansion to three stores; and the process for finding “new” varieties.  Participants will learn a technique for germination testing with a hands-on activity, and learn how to make a Coffee Shop Seed Starter. Ellyn will provide catalogs, and of course...seeds!
