Tareke Berhe, Ph.D., is a Teff Consultant working with local restaurateur Tsion Taddese (Queen Sheba's, Sacramento) to discuss the potential for growing teff in the Sacramento region. Teff is a gluten-free small grain, originating in Ethiopia. Dr. Berhe will give a seminar on his work in teff, and will later meet with researchers to discuss potential collaborations.
