The World Food Center will host two special events, the Food For Thought Showcases, to highlight the work of research centers, programs, and institutes on campus working in food systems. Discover the centers shaping the future of food through a series of elevator pitches, followed by a networking reception and showcase where guests can interact with these research groups, members of the UC Davis community, and local and regional stakeholders. Both showcases are free and open to the public; they are identical in structure, but will each feature a different roster of presenting centers.
· Dates: Monday, May 7 and Monday, June 4
· Times: 4pm-7pm – 4-5pm pitch session, 5-7pm reception and showcase
