SCOPE Field Day

You're invited to join the Student Collaborative Organic Plant Breeding Education (SCOPE) field day at the UC Davis Student Farm Shop on Wednesday, August 26th from 9-11AM. We will have a tour and talk from our lead student breeders of the SCOPE summer field breeding projects in organic fresh market tomatoes and cut zinnias. Also hear breeding project progress reports on our winter crops: celtuce, spinach, and wheat. We will wrap up the event with a tomato and whole wheat bread tasting. All are welcome, whether you’re a student, farmer, researcher, or a​​re just interested in plants! RSVP here to help us prepare for the event.
